Swath: I just realised that most of my pictures lately have been overly busy, packed with detail, too noisy, too garish at times. ... Felt the need for some space, some breathing room, if you will... I took this on Halloween, walking along Market St. The expanse of the white wall, the empty parking lot, such a wide open space seemed unusual to me for San Francisco. It was a little eerie and soothing at the same time.
