Loneliness is not inherent in fog but in our perception of it. This photo is quite lovely. No loneliness here. Isn't that a couple sitting on top of the big rock on the left?

thanks for your thoughful comment! 'tis true that loneliness can be a state of mind/ perception. the couple does look intimate, but, from my vantage point, and since i was alone at the time, i indulged in a bit of wistful nostalgia ...
