3rd posting about the 4th
After the Fillmore St Jazz Fest we chilled a bit at Brian's laughing inanely at silly things he's found on the 'net, and then headed over to Formiginha's, where per usual we gathered around the round table in the backyard, ate various grilled meats and vegetables and some yummy shrimp-vegetable skewers prepared by the lovely Sara G, and, as dusk crept up on us and it got progressively chillier, we decided to eschew fireworks viewing (too foggy in any case) and headed upstairs to tell ghost stories and watch a Chinese horror flick called Jian Gui, or The Eye. It's comparable of the Sixth Sense, although a bit more subtle in its lack of gory images.
It was a perfectly lovely way to spend a holiday with people you love... one of my favourite 4ths ever...
