Where did the weekend go??
As usual during the weekend I tend to vanish into a black hole/ alternate universe if there's a lot going on. What with teching for the kids' show Friday night, then Capoeira, then the Rickshaw stop to check out the Invisibles, then pretty much all of Saturday spent at Capoeira and at the actual kids' show, to a brief respite at home, then on to the East Bay for the bboy fund-raiser at the UCA Café. Yesterday was Luanda's birthday/ going-away party, and I had barely enough time to get my car serviced, grab a present, and stop at the grocery for some contributions to the fest, and finally, pick up Bill on the way there.

So it was a frenentic 2.5 days that fortunately wound down to a nice, lazy Sunday at Chez Hampshire eating bbq-ed meat cooked by Mestre, doing drunken handstands in the middle of the kitchen, and eventually piling into Luanda's soon-to-be-vacated bedroom, acting silly as usual (there are lots of pictures, all of which are waiting to be uploaded from my hard drive at home). Some of us also decided to catch the 1030pm showing of Harry Potter at the Metreon, and my end-of-the-week came to a halt as we emerged at 1:15am, filled with visions of dementors and werewolves, blinking in the streetlights.
